Why this blog?

We have created this blog because we feel very blessed in our life and we attribute these blessings to our faith in our Savior Jesus Christ. As most of our friends know, we are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The church has several nick names to to eliminate any confusion we are also considered to be Mormons, LDS, Latter-Day Saints or members of the Church of Jesus Christ. In any case the different names are synonymous.
As we understand that politics and religion can be two topics that some people would rather not talk about for fear of offending someone else, we are going to use this blog to try to answer questions that our friends or whoever finds this blog my have about the Mormon faith. In no way to we represent the Church but we are reflecting our beliefs and how we view our faith. If you would like to find more detailed information about the Church you can visit http://www.mormon.org/.
This blog is meant to be an open door if you will for people to explore our faith from our point of view. The Book of Mormon and Freedom

This is a great video that a friend of mine recently posted on Facebook. I thought that the video was very fitting given what is going on in our great country at this time. I know that there are many references to the Book of Mormon that one may not follow if you are not familiar with the book. I think that the basic truths that are touched upon in this video stand out and witness what we need to do to preserve our freedoms in this great country that we have been blessed to live in.
